2026 is the Year of Total Defence – and Tiepoint is positioning accordingly.
Tiepoint will now fully offer its established emergency drone concept to actors within total defence and critical infrastructure.
Since 2021, the operational methodology we use, where professional operators conduct and manage drone operations under one robust approval structure, has in practice been reserved for fire and emergency services. The Civil Aviation Authority has now, through this year’s fee regulation and clear regulatory signals, opened and facilitated for this model to be used more broadly in the market.

What does this mean?
Tiepoint offers structured drone preparedness under:
- EASA Specific LUC (Light UAS Operator Certificate), including cross border operations within Europe
- State Aviation Authorization
- Centralized operational control and dispatch
- Contract based compliance and regulatory oversight
This enables professional actors to operate within an established, documented and authority-anchored structure, without having to build a full-scale aviation organization of their own.
Who is this for?
We target professional actors responsible for critical societal preparedness and infrastructure, who require a comprehensive and authority-anchored drone solution adapted to their operational model. Tiepoint provides a structured and documented operating model with clear requirements for compliance, accountability and quality, because critical operations require more.
Why now?
2026 is the Year of Total Defence. The need for rapid situational awareness, robust preparedness and professional drone operations has never been greater.
Tiepoint already has a three-digit number of pilots operating under our State Aviation approval and EASA Specific LUC. Systems for dispatch, safety management (SMS), compliance and operational control are in place.
We are now opening the structure to more actors, under the right conditions.
Our ambition
Tiepoint aims to serve as the professional umbrella organization for drone operations within the total defence framework.
We are selective.
We are regulatorily robust.
We operate to aviation standards.
